You might have heard all the hype surrounding the term Tagging and Social Bookmarking in the past months. I bought many ebooks on the topic and they were packed with some really interesting information.

There is a lot of controversy on some of the Social Bookmarking tactics that are taught in those ebooks. Some view it as a way to spam for money and some view it as a linking strategy.

What really saddened me is that the authors will accuse each other of teaching spamming tactics when their own material is of a spamming nature.

Be it blackhat, whitehat or grayhat, we must always approach new ideas with an open-mind. We can analyze new ideas and judge for ourselves as to what can or cannot be done. I must admit that I have whitehat as well as blackhat sites. I use both whitehat and blackhat strategies.
